Surgery Update

Surgery went well this morning with no complications. The person scheduled to go first today was a no show so I was the first in line which was nice because we were home by 10am.....I think! I don't like to complain so this will be brief. I am SO SORE and in a ton of pain. I've been holding off on taking my pain medicine until bed time so I hopefully can sleep through the night. It should take a few days for the injections to kick in and we'll find out if it worked or not. The real test will be to see HOW LONG it will last. Jason has been my nurse all day and has been wonderful. My mom and dad brought us all dinner tonight which was so very nice. AND it was my favorite....Buffalo Wild Wings! YUM! I'm feeling ok if I don't have to move around too much. The bottom 1/4 of the back of my head is completely numb which is the craziest feeling. I know my head is touching the pillow but I can't feel it. So weird! The anesthesa (sp?) kicked in right away this time. I'm still pretty out of it so hopefully this blog entry makes sense :) Right now I'm just trying to get some rest and not be too bored :) I don't like laying around doing nothing all day so this is hard for me :) Hopefully tomorrow will be better!
