All about Luc

Hi! My name is Luc and I am 4 years old and "almost" 2 months. I am a Cool Dude! As you can see from my picture above, I LOVE video games. Video games are my passion. Mommy bought me this cool new Power Rangers video game that hooks right up to the tv. I've played it for 2 days straight. Mommy was a little upset at first because she didn't notice on the box that it said ages 10 and over but I've already mastered it. I also play my v-smile games all the time and also play one of daddys playstation 3 games. It's so much fun!! My friend Matthew who lives down the street comes down to play video games with me on the weekends. He's a lot of fun! One of my other favorite things to do is play Basketball. Daddy goes downstairs with me and we shoot free throws and have tons of fun. I also like to play catch and see how high I can count before we drop the ball. I also like to play soccer and hockey and golf and baseball. I basically like all sports and am really good at them already. I've recently become a pretty good eater. I like to drink my milk because it makes my muscles big and strong. If you ask me, I'll show you my muscles because they are getting HUGE! It's so cool dude! I've been learning a lot of new lingo from my older friends down the street. I like to say words like "Awesome, and Cool Dude, and Sweet!, and Yeah Baby!" If you happen to ask me "What's up Luc" I'll answer by saying "Good!" I have a new favorite tv show called Jungle Fury. It comes on Monday nights at 7pm and I look forward to it every week. I also love to read and mommy and daddy read to me every night before bed. Of course I have my blankie with me and my thumb in my mouth. When it's time for lights out I like mommy or daddy to lay with me for "10 seconds." It makes me really happy. One last thing I like to do that makes mommy mad is to fart on her. Daddy laughs all the time when I do this and I think it is so funny. I'll go over and give her a big hug and then turn around and fart on her. HAHAHAHAHA It's so funny!!!!! I'm in pre-K now and LOVE it! I learn all sorts of stuff at school and surprised mommy and daddy the other day when I picked up a shape when we played candy land castle and told them it was an octagon. Their mouths about hit the floor! I can also write all my upper case letters and spell my name. I'm lucky that my name is only 3 letters long!
Well, that's about all there is to know about me at 4 years and "almost" 2 months!! I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff so I'll have to write more later.

All About Mitchell

Hello! I'm Mitchell and I'm 2 years and 2 months old. I like to do all sorts of things so I thought I'd tell you all about me!!! To start off, I'll tell you that I LOVE my blankie. I'm all about it. It goes everywhere with me, goes to bed with me, gets dragged on the ground by me, gets chewed on by me...Everywhere. If I don't have my blankie I freak out. As you can see in the picture above, it's right next to me. I am also extremely clumsy. I get hurt about 5-10 times daily. I have bruises all over my legs, arms and face and have new scratches and scrapes all the time. Whenever I get hurt I like you to kiss my boo boos. I say "Kiss It" repeatedly until you kiss my boo boos. It always makes them feel better!! One of my favorite things to do is draw. I draw constantly throughout the day. I really like it when mommy draws Dora and Boots for me. I ask her to draw Dora and Boots all the time. One of my favorite things to eat is fruit snacks. I could live on fruit snacks. They are so good and fruity-licious. I ask for them all day long which my mommy and daddy just love! I have fun picking out a new box of fruit snacks whenever we go to the grocery store. If they let me, I would eat all of them before we even left the store! The last time we were at the store Mommy bought me a baseball bat. Guess what everyone....I bat as a lefty like my Aunt Ruthie. I also golf lefty. More money for mommy and daddy...haha. Well, one more thing to tell you all. I LOVE to sing. I sing all the time and I sing in tune. I'm mommy's little song bird. We sing in the car, we sing along with the shows on tv, we sing before night time. I am constantly singing :) I really like to read books too. I read books every night with mommy and daddy before bed. It's one of my favorite things to do.

Happy "Snowy" Easter

What a great day! The boys woke up so excited to see if the Easter Bunny had come and hid baskets for them. They were so surprised when they found them hiding behind the couch!! Lots of candy and toys and totally awesome Spiderman umbrellas. Too bad that it was so cold outside that it had to snow instead of rain so we didn't use them. Next time for sure!!
Then, we were off to church with Grandma and Grandpop. Luc got to come out for the childrens sermen which was pretty cool. He looked so tiny and cute up there! After church we went to brunch and the boys had a lovely breakfast of sugar cookies and french toast sticks. Ok, so they had already eaten all the chocolate in their Easter Baskets and now more sugar.....see what kind of day we're headed for?
So, we left brunch and headed to the Grandparents house for an Easter Egg Hunt. Boy oh Boy was that a ton of fun!!! The boys had a blast looking everywhere for those eggs. Then had even more fun opening them....MORE CANDY! and quarters....an Owens family tradition :)

We had talked about taking the boys to a movie but there was no way they would go down for a nap so decided to wait another week for Horton Hears a Who.

So, we headed home in the afternoon to "TRY" and take naps. No such luck. The boys were wide awake so we stayed up and played. Come about 6pm they were both pretty cranky so we took baths. Mitchell was out by 7pm and Luc by about 7:30. They both crashed pretty hard but it was worth it because they had a wonderful day!!

Easter at the Zoo...Brrrrrrrrrrrrr

Miller Park Zoo held an Easter Egg Hunt for little kids yesterday...rain or shine. Or in our case...SNOW. UGH! Haven't we had enough of it already? GEESH! Anyways, the boys and I went and had a lot of fun. We hunted for eggs outside and then went inside to warm up, meet the Easter Bunny and play a lot of games. It was a fun morning! Mitchell went right up to the bunny and I had to pretty much pry him away. Luc wanted nothing to do with him :-D The boys both colored an easter bunny and got bunny tattoos. They also got a ton of candy and were on a major sugar high for the next hour! Grandma and Grandpop Owens met us there and had fun playing with the boys! It was a fun morning! Here's some pics.
