This picture has been a long time coming. Mitchell's collection and obsession with frogs has really grown over the year. Saying he loves frogs is an understatement. Saying HE LOVES FROGS MORE THAN ANYTHING is more like it. Hahaha. He has a green room. He has stuffed animal frogs. He has frog books. He has a frog hat. He has big frogs, little frogs, in between sized frogs. You name it....he's got it. And, he's proud to tell you anything you want to know about his frogs :) He sleeps with most of them every night but he does have his favorites. First and foremost is his frog pillow pet. It has become his new pillow at night. Second would be his frog light. We have already gone through a package of batteries with that thing and have to limit it's use. Third would be his frog bag. He loves to put things in it...especially squeakers and baby giraffe which are his 2 other favorite "non frog" animals. Grandma and Grandpop recently bought him this huge frog book. He has spent so much time looking at that book and has his favorite in that too. Hey, I just had a good idea while writing this....maybe he should go as a frog for halloween? I wonder if we could pull that off. Any suggestions? Earlier this summer while mowing the lawn I found a toad that was stuck in our window well. I went and got Mitchell and we got him out of there and sat in the front yard playing with him. He was so cool and Mitchell was in heaven. Of course now he wants a pet frog for Christmas. LOL If you are ever in the Danvers area and need a good frog fix, stop on by. This is one little boy who will introduce you to all of them :)

Crazy Busy
You know, when I had kids I seriously thought that my life wouldn't get crazy busy until they were at least in the 10-ish range. Why oh WHY did I think that? We are so stinkin busy these days that it makes me wonder what it's going to be like when they are in that 10-ish range and over. I don't like to think about that!! I'll just stay in the here and now and worry about that later. :-)
Lots has been going on in the Sweeney household this past week. We got Luc signed up for fall/winter basketball. We're trying a new league through Game time gym this year and the season is October - March. Yes, you read that right. I predict he will be ready for the NBA by the end of this LONG season. Practices will be once a week and games once a week. He does actually get a "real" jersey too which he thinks is super cool. Mitchell also got signed up for basketball this fall. His season is only one month long and is only on Thursdays. He cannot wait!!! Daddy said he'd help out some at the practices so Mitchell is just on cloud nine! Luc started soccer practices a couple weeks ago and had his first game today. It was cold and misty outside but the kids seemed to like playing in that weather. The Under 7 league is 5 on 5 with no goalies, 4 ten minute quarters, and actual referees. He's got 4 kids on his team that were there last year. Oh, and did I mention Luc scored 3 GOALS!!!!!!!!!! We got in the car after the game and he looks at me and says...and i quote..."That was So Awesome!". I think he likes soccer :) Last night we went to Luc's first Cub Scout get together. They were supposed to go to Funks Grove for a camp out but the weather called for rain. So, they cancelled the camp out and had everyone out to the main leader's home at Spin Lake. She literally lives in the woods and the kids had an absolute blast running around outside on their 7 acres of land playing flash light tag. Mitchell was made an honorary cub scout by the others :) There was a big camp fire and the boys also got to roast hot dogs. It was a lot of fun and the other parents were really cool. Ok, so besides this I also had class this week. It's going really well and I'm learning a lot. I'll get to sit for my trainees license in January and then be able to write the reports and have Jason sign off on them. Can't wait!
Last weekend was Labor Day Weekend. We had a big "Salsa" party in the cul de sac behind us. I made homemade salsa for the first time and called it The Creeper. It was really really good but after about 10 seconds really creeped up on you and burnt the crap out of your mouth. Delicious!! I didn't win the salsa contest but had lots of good complements on it. One guy sat by the table and ate mine only. Every time I saw him he'd comment on it. It was cracking me up :) I love our neighborhood :)
Well, that's it for this week. We'll see what next week brings. More craziness I'm sure. Off the top of my head I know we've got school, my school, soccer practice, soccer game, a wedding, family over for dinner, and an overnight. Whooooo....

CUB SCOUTS
Luc came home yesterday with a flyer in his backpack for Cub Scouts and boy was he excited about it! He told me all about how someone had come to his class and told them all about Cub Scouts and how the first meeting was Thrusday night at 6:30 and how he just had to go. I told him of course he could go. So when Dad got home Luc ran over to him and asked if he would take him "Thursday at 6:30". :) He sure had that date memorized! He is so excited for tonight's first meeting. This morning at breakfast he was telling me that he could just stay longer at PALS and that Dad could just come get him right before the meeting. I told him he'd have to eat dinner first and that PALS only goes to 5:30. He's so cute :) He told me his best friend Saegan will be there too. He can't wait and I can't wait to hear all about it!
