Happy "Snowy" Easter

What a great day! The boys woke up so excited to see if the Easter Bunny had come and hid baskets for them. They were so surprised when they found them hiding behind the couch!! Lots of candy and toys and totally awesome Spiderman umbrellas. Too bad that it was so cold outside that it had to snow instead of rain so we didn't use them. Next time for sure!!
Then, we were off to church with Grandma and Grandpop. Luc got to come out for the childrens sermen which was pretty cool. He looked so tiny and cute up there! After church we went to brunch and the boys had a lovely breakfast of sugar cookies and french toast sticks. Ok, so they had already eaten all the chocolate in their Easter Baskets and now more sugar.....see what kind of day we're headed for?
So, we left brunch and headed to the Grandparents house for an Easter Egg Hunt. Boy oh Boy was that a ton of fun!!! The boys had a blast looking everywhere for those eggs. Then had even more fun opening them....MORE CANDY! and quarters....an Owens family tradition :)

We had talked about taking the boys to a movie but there was no way they would go down for a nap so decided to wait another week for Horton Hears a Who.

So, we headed home in the afternoon to "TRY" and take naps. No such luck. The boys were wide awake so we stayed up and played. Come about 6pm they were both pretty cranky so we took baths. Mitchell was out by 7pm and Luc by about 7:30. They both crashed pretty hard but it was worth it because they had a wonderful day!!
