Luc had a "moment" this year with his pumpkin. HE PUT HIS HAND IN IT!!!! I could not believe it. Luckily I got the whole thing on tape. In the five Halloweens (man, has it really been 5??) that we have carved pumpkins, I am the one who ends up cleaning them and carving them. Luc never put his hand in. I was so shocked! He was very cautious at first holding his sleeve out of the way and only using the scoop. Then all of a sudden his hand went in and a handful of goo came out! So cool!! Mitchell put his hands in it as usual. He loves it. He pulled out a huge handful and said "Mommy! Look at all the beans!" And then ate one. I yelled "NO MITCHELL! We don't eat the beans! Oh, and by the way kiddo, those are seeds!" HAHAHA It was hilarious :) We only bought one big pumpkin this year so both boys took turns choosing what shapes to make the eyes and nose and they both decided on a scary face!

The boys had a blast this year. Luc's class at Chesterbrook had a Halloween party and costume parade. It was a lot of fun. Luc dressed up as the Autobot Transformer Bumblebee. Mitchell was a skeleton. I think the weather was the best it has ever been in my life for Halloween. It was in the high 60's and absolutely gorgeous outside. We must have had over 100 trick-or-treaters too. The boys really enjoyed trick-or-treating. They literally ran house to house and got a ton of candy. We let them stay up till 8:30 playing outside with the neighborhood kids. It was a great night!

This is a picture from Luc's parade at school. The one below is of both boys. I didn't get a good one of Mitchell in his mask the day of Halloween so this is an older picture from the day we got the costumes.
