Here's a little tale about 2 Cub fans....well, make that 1 Cub fan and another who lost a bet and had to wear a jersey and hat (HAHA) went to St.Louis on July 25th to Busch Stadium to watch the Chicago CUBS beat those stinkin' Cardinals 7-1!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's my CUBS I know and love! We had an absolute blast. The game started at 7:10 so we left work early, drove down, got a hotel and went to the game. We had lots of good eats and drinks and cheered along with the other CUB fans there and saw our team win. What a great first Cubs/Cards game! I'll never forget it!! I think it made it even better that we were in St.Louis. Neither one of us had ever gone to a professional game cheering the opposing team. We weren't heckled as bad as I thought we would be. Around the 7th inning we were up 6-1 and a lot of the Cards fans started to leave. I kept yelling "A true fan would stay!" Ummmm, I had a few beers in me! HAHA! Jason kept telling me to stop it and that made me do it even more. It was a fun night!
