Well, we did it! We bought a new house today and we are SO excited!!!!! We have been looking for a little over a month now. This house is in Danvers. Danvers is about 15 minutes northwest of Bloomington/Normal and has a population of 1800. We had gone there because a house we were interested in was having an open house. When we got there, we found out that it had already been sold which bummed us out. So, there were 3 other homes having open houses out there that day so we decided to check them out. We fell in love with this house. It is located in a subdivision on the outskirts of town. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Finished Basement, huge closets, lots of windows, fireplace, huge kitchen, built in 2000...etc. We just loved it! We made an offer today that was accepted so we officially "close" on July 20th! We have been on cloud nine all day. We met the owners today and they told us all about the neighborhood. The majority of the people in this area are in the 30-40 range and have kids. Lots and lots of kids which is jut perfect! They have lots of block party's and everyone knows everyone. I've been joking with Jason all day that we are going to put a pool in because 3 of the neighbors have pools! We definately have the space for it. Check out the backyard! The kids will be in heaven! In the picture, I am standing about 20 feet from the edge of the property line!

We are going to be really busy this next month getting our current house ready to be sold, cleaning, painting, as well as getting everything ready for the new house. Add 2 short and 1 long vacation on top of that. You could say we might be just a little stressed out! HA!
We are curious to know how the boys will react. They both know our house inside and out, know the neighborhood, know the people etc. We have a feeling it will take a little while to feel like "home" to them but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. We think they will just love this new home and all the new kids to play with. We also found out that Danvers is building a new elementary school that will open in 2009...just in time for Luc to start Kindergaarten. It can't get more perfect than that!!
